At no additional cost, these departures will be co-hosted by professional PENTAX photographer Kerrick James, who will conduct special field events and onboard workshops throughout the cruise. ABOUT KERRICK JAMES
Kerrick James took his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Arizona State University in 1982. He has photographed the lands and cities of the American West, Mexico, and the Pacific Rim for over twenty-five years, with increasing emphasis on Alaska, Hawaii and Baja California. His work has appeared on more than 80 book covers, 85 magazine covers and numerous feature stories in travel and in-flight magazines like Arizona Highways, Alaska, Voyageur, Hemispheres, Endless Vacation, National Geographic Adventure, Sky, Sunset, USAir, etc.

In addition to providing covers for two books by National Geographic, he has also shot guidebooks of the Southwest, Arizona, New Mexico, Las Vegas, and San Francisco for Compass American Guides. For Insight Guides, he has shot travel guides of Arizona, Utah, California and San Francisco. He is an active member of SATW (Society of American Travel Writers), TJG (Travel Journalist’s Guild), and NATJA (North American Travel Journalist Association) Kerrick resides in Mesa, Arizona with his sons Shane, Royce and Keanu.
